In 1972 the great Mississippi flood was the most devastating disaster in the history of US.please analyze the disaster from a comprehensive emergency management perspective preparedness,response,recovery and mitigation given special attention to cultural political and economical implication of its aftermath. At the end of the essay please draw a parallel between the great Mississippi flood and hurricane Katrina by comparing and contrasting the two events.
