As a Result of his dissatisfaction with modern america, Allie Fox (pro/antagonist of “Mosquito Coast”) makes a move that is arguably as drastic as Bill “D-Fens” Foster’s. Like AL Fountain, Allie Fox attemts to create/recreate a life for himself that is diametrically opposed to his actual existence. Choode either “D-fens” Foster or AL Fountain and write an essay in which you compare/contrast either of these charicters with Allie Fox. Be sure to discuss what the characters’ perceived problems are, how they attempt to remedy them, and whether or not each is successful.
