Human Factors in engineering

Find an article in any journal in the library about a Human Factors research study (make sure it is a cognitive topic, not a physical one. See our syllabus topics to check if you are not sure). This does not include magazines, newspapers or unreviewed papers you find on the Internet. You can search in our library, or use Google Scholar. Don’t use the regular Google.

Write about the following:

Facts
o Methods What did they do?
o Conclusions What did they discover
Your opinions
o Usefulness Do you think the results of the paper can help a real designer? Why or why not?
o Preference Did the paper interest you? Why or why not?

You should write one paragraph about each question for a total of four paragraphs. Also, please include the complete reference. That means authors, article title, journal title, issue number, pages, and year.
