Your second research assignment is to find three companies that experienced a significant event in the past that resulted in the company suffering a financial hardship or restructure but did not result in going out of business. You may use the internet, newspaper articles, television news reports, interviews, or any other resource that you might find useful.

While researching, be sure to document the source, the type of event, the date or period of the event, any extraordinary loses, whether or not there were fatalities, and if available, the net worth of the company before the event for each of the three companies you select. You may want to also document any other information that you feel might be relevant to the development of your research paper.
