What is America?

Write an analytical paper in which you show knowledge and an understanding of what has defined the American journey, the American experience, and the American Character since the conclusion of World War II as close to the present as you can go.  In comparison or contrast to “who we were, who have become?”  In comparison or contrast to where we were, where are we now?”

In reference to the clip from the series Newsroom  . . . Can we speak of America as “the greatest nation on Earth?”  Were we once?  Can we still be?  How?
