The book looks at the work of Helen Frankenthaler. It describes the dedication she had towards her work and the methods that she used to paint. It also tells of her inspiration back then. Helen was inspired by Jackson Pollock who was also a painter. She was amazed at his technique and the boldness with which he painted.
