Acknowledgement letter

You are supposed to convey sincere acknowledgement for someone’s help that they gave to you.  It can be somebody’s support, time, effort, research, money or trust. Be sincere and, if appropriate, even emotional. At the same time, keep in mind that your writing style should be more formal than in a standard thank you note.
To write an acknowledgment letter, you should:
1. Start with the reason why you wrote this letter.
2. Bring up at least one specific event that led you to your gratitude.
3. Talk about only positive things; do not mention any past conflicts or problems.
4. Write a concluding paragraph emphasizing the benefits you received and your gratitude towards the person.
