Defining Marketing Paper

Write a 1400 – 1750 word paper in which you define marketing. For the first half of this paper:
(a) your personal definition of marketing plus definitions from two additional sources, then:
(b) Based on these definitions, explain/discuss the (generalized) importance of marketing in organizational success, and
(c)  Provide at least three different firms’ examples from the business world to support your explanation.

In addition, for the second half of this assignment:
(d) present and explain the marketing mix concept, and (e) then  select an organization with which you are familiar and describe how each one of the four elements of the marketing mix (product, place, price, and promotion) affects the development of the organization’s marketing strategy and tactics. Describe how each element is implemented.
Properly cite and reference sources used in the paper. A minimum of three references are required- the majority of which are from academic sources.
