We will write essays that compare and contrast the novels we’ve read,
focusing on a literary aspect and how each author uses it. The essay
will address Point of View. These are traditional college essays, with
thesis and topic sentences, introductions and conclusions. We will
discuss the form and approaches together in class. Minimum length is 600
words.
All assignments should be typed in a standard format: double-spaced,
one-inch margins, twelve-point Times New Roman font, each page numbered
with your name on it. In an upper corner of the first page, type your
name, my name, the course number, and the date. Always use paragraphs
and quotations.
